We usually blame hormones for teen so often strange and impulsive behavior. As new analysis has found that they are so different as their brains are undergoing a giant change that starts around life time & continues through to their mid 20s.
For teenagers, it means that they don’t feel the similar manner as adults. Their brain is not enough prepared or able to work in the similar manner as ours. The greatest changes occur in different parts of brain that handles impulse control, emotions, decision making, judgement, planning and many more.

More Important – the kinds of stimulation you offer for your teen can generally form the structure of their brains. Latest studies show that teen’s brains develop very fast in relation to the things that individual feel. This can be why they learn games as those for Playstation easier than elder ones. Their brain grows & learns – constantly ‘rewiring itself’.

Since their brain is not properly developed, it is a giant challenge for teens between turning out with a thought & have the ability to decide whether its good or bad.

Teenagers’ brains are very sensitive to drug use than adults

Starting alcohol at an early age is just related to alcohol dependency and connected issues in adult life.

For these reasons, it’s necessary for their parents to delay & limit alcohol consumption that use by teenagers for as long as potential and therefore same applies for  the use of tobacco & marijuana.

One study showed that for youngsters who started drinking by the age of fourteen, virtually (1 out of each 2) went on to develop alcohol dependency issues as compared with just one in ten who did not drink alcohol till they were twenty one.
